The castle is constituted by two units organized on three different periods and shapes towers: squared (XI century), octagonal (XII century) and circular (XVIII century).
Originally, almost in the year 1000, it was a sighting tower; it had been enlarged and transformed in castle in the period between XII and XIV century; when the dungeon had been added to the squared tower; during the XVIII century it became the suzerain’s residence and the second unit ending in the cylindrical tower had been built.
